Caretaker - Thatcham | £26,000 - £27,500 We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant to join a busy estates team, playing a key role in keeping the site safe, secure and running smoothly day-to-day. This is a varied, practical role with real responsibility and no two days the same. Benefits ✔ Generous pension ✔ Free meals on shift ✔ 25 days holiday + bank holidays ✔ Employee Assistance Programme Hours: * Option 1: 1:30pm - 9:00pm * Option 2 (rota): Week 1: 1:30pm - 9:00pm | Week 2: 10:30am - 6:00pm As the Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for: General maintenance and minor repairs Opening/closing the site Daily pool testing Site security checks + CCTV monitoring Acting as Fire Officer Supporting events, set-ups and site logistics Responding to out-of-hours/emergency issues The succesful Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant will have the following skills / experience: Caretaker/maintenance experience Full UK driving licence Practical, proactive and able to work independently Strong awareness of health & safety Flexible with hours (including on-call when needed)
