Fire Risk Assessor

Our client, a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy, is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent assessor currently operating at Tier 2 / Intermediate level on the Fire Risk Assessor Register who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and highly professional environment. Working remotely from home, you will carry out Fire Risk Assessments across a diverse portfolio of properties nationwide, including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use premises. This role also offers structured development and training to progress into completing Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments, making it an ideal opportunity for someone keen to advance technically. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Fire Risk Assessments in line with current legislation and industry standards Assess a broad range of property types across the UK Produce clear, accurate, and professional reports with practical recommendations Liaise with clients, duty holders, and stakeholders regarding findings and remedial actions Manage your own diary and travel schedule effectively Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation, standards, and best practice Requirements: Tier 2 / Intermediate level on the Fire Risk Assessor Register (or equivalent competency level) Proven experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments independently Strong report writing and communication skills Good working knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision Desirable: Experience across varied property sectors Interest in progressing to Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments Additional fire safety qualifications or memberships What’s on Offer: £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary (depending on experience) Full remote / home-based role Nationwide project exposure Ongoing training and career development, including Type 4 FRA progression Supportive and forward-thinking employer Flexible working environment Suitable Fire Risk Assessors please apply direct or call James on (phone number removed) for more information.
