Car Sales Controller

Renault Cardiff is looking for a Sales Controller to join our busy dealership on Penarth Road (CF11).  You’ll be assisting the New Car Sales Manager in implementing the new car sales policy. Why join us A basic salary of £28,738pa OTE £57,476pa Company car 33 days’ annual leave including Bank Holidays (with the option to buy or sell additional days) Pension scheme with life assurance cover Share Incentive Scheme Brand new car on our Loan Plan Car scheme Staff discounts on vehicles, parts, servicing, and accessories Free Mortgage and pension advice seminars Cycle?to?Work scheme, including e?bikes Discounted gym membership Enhanced Maternity and Paternity policies Opportunities to progress your career and excellent Manufacturer training What you’ll be doing Developing the necessary sales volumes to meet sales and profitability objectives Maximising sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers to meet sales forecast Ensuring budgets and sales objectives are met by support to direct selling staff, to control margin within each deal Help formulate marketing plan and initiate car sales promotions Reviewing all pricing policies, discounts with respect to sales to maintain dealership profitability Covering the Sales Manager duties in their absence What you’ll bring Experience in motor vehicle retail preferably with a main dealer A proven track record of successfully delivering monthly financial and volume-based targets Knowledge of financial products and services Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to deliver outstanding customer service Determination to succeed and professionalism Full UK driving licence Working pattern You’ll be working 45 hours per week.  The working hours are Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm, Saturday 8.30am-5pm.  With a day off during the week and no Sunday working as we are closed on that day.
