Bid Writer - Training Provided
Location: Halifax (Hybrid - 1 day office / 4 days home)
Full-time | Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000
We're pleased to be working with a supportive and well-established company based in Halifax, who are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a development-focused role, with full training provided, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in building a long-term career in bid writing.
The role:
As a Bid Writer, you will support the preparation of high-quality tender submissions to win new business and secure renewals of existing contracts. Key responsibilities will include:
Writing and contributing to tender submissions in line with client, portal and framework requirements
Using online tender portals and frameworks to complete and submit bids
Ensuring all relevant processes and governance procedures are followed
Managing deadlines and prioritising workloads, with some flexibility required during busy submission periods
Building effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring attention to detail throughout the process
About you:
Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational skills
High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Confident written communication skills
Proactive, reliable and keen to learn
An interest in developing a career within bid writingPrevious bid writing experience is not required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

£32,000 - £34,000 salary
Hybrid working - 1 day per week in the Halifax office and 4 days from home
