Job Overview: * This school caters for students aged 11-16. * Full-time, Monday - Friday, Design and Technology ECT role. * Plan and deliver engaging, practical DT lessons across KS3-KS4. * Teach a range of DT disciplines (e.g. product design, resistant materials, or graphics). * Support students in developing creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. * Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support achievement. * Work closely with an experienced mentor and supportive department. * Contribute to a safe and stimulating workshop/classroom environment. This role is ideal for an ECT looking to complete their induction within a structured and encouraging setting. The school provides strong guidance, reduced timetable support, and opportunities for long-term career progression within the department and wider school. What we're looking for: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS (ECT). * A degree in Design and Technology or a related subject. * A passion for practical, creative teaching and learning. * Strong classroom management and willingness to develop professionally. * A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
