Team Leader – Wiltech Acoustics

Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and manage the fit out team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
* Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech’s high standards.
* Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
* Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
* Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
* Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Electrical Fitter, ideally within fabrication, enclosures, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of health & safety and ISO standards within a manufacturing environment.
* Confident communication and problem-solving skills.
* Hours - Afternoons 2pm till 10pm Monday to Friday (15% Shift Allowance) and Nights 10pm till 6am Sunday to Thursday (30% shift allowance).
