About the role
kolt recruitment are looking for a workshop controller for a busy and well-established accident repair centre based in Burgess Hill. this is a key role within the bodyshop, responsible for managing workflow, ensuring productivity targets are met and maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer service.
key responsibilities:
* overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop
* managing workflow and allocating jobs to technicians
* ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
* monitoring productivity and meeting KPIs
* liaising with estimators, parts and management teams
* ensuring quality control checks are completedsupporting and motivating the workshop team
requirements:
* previous experience as a workshop controller or senior bodyshop role
* strong knowledge of accident repair processes
* excellent organisation and communication skills
* ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
* experience working in a fast-paced environment
* full uk driving licence
