You will be teaching a small class of pupils with special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons that meet individual learning styles and developmental needs. You will work closely with support staff and external professionals to create a structured, engaging and supportive learning environment.
What we’re looking for
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Experience working with pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, SEMH, complex needs)
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice
A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsYour responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Creating a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and therapists
Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP targets and reviews
