Class 1 Hgv Driver - AD HOC

Driver Hire Oxford is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers for ad hoc and flexible assignments across Oxfordshire and the surrounding area. Key Responsibilities * Safely operating articulated, curtainsider, flatbed or other Cat C+E vehicles * Carrying out pre-use vehicle safety checks (walkaround checks) before each shift * Completing tachograph records accurately and in line with drivers' hours regulations * multi-drop deliveries * Loading and unloading vehicles safely, using appropriate equipment where required * Communicating professionally with clients, customers and colleagues * Adhering to all road traffic laws, health & safety regulations and company policies * Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents or near misses promptly * Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct at all times on site
