Overview of this position - Covering the West London area, you'll buddy up with engineers on-site, replacing parts and helping to keep customer fleets moving with minimal disruption. Service Engineer responsibilities include - Buddy up with an experienced service engineer and travel to clients. Swap out service-ready components on electric vehicles as part of scheduled maintenance. Carry out changeovers on air conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration, and heating/cooling systems. Utilise a handheld PDA system for logging work, tracking tasks, and team communication. Service Engineer desirable skills and education - Experience in a similar role - MOT tester, vehicle technician, mechanic, automotive technician. Time served, or Mechanical / Electrical educated (IMI, FGAS, BTEC, HNC, or degree desirable). Basic hands-on experience with mechanical assembly (study, home projects, or work-based). Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions, and assembly procedures.
