CNC Programmer (Aerospace / 5-Axis) Location: Lurgan, Northern Ireland Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00 * Friday: 07:00 – 12:00 Syntech Recruitment are working with a high-precision manufacturing business based close to Lurgan to appoint a CNC Programmer specialising in complex aerospace components. The Package * £45,000 – £50,000 DOE * Early finish every Friday * 31 days holiday * Westfield healthcare cash plan * Subsidised leisure membership * Death in service * Enhanced maternity/paternity leave * Free on-site parking CNC Programmer Responsibilities * Offline CNC programming for 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres using CAM software * Develop and optimise machining strategies across materials including aluminium and titanium * Select and implement efficient tooling packages for each component * Design and develop fixtures and workholding solutions * Liaise with external programming subcontractors where required CNC Programmer Requirements * Experience in offline CNC programming using CAM software (e.g. Mastercam or similar) * Strong understanding of multi-axis machining (3, 4 and 5-axis) * Background in aerospace or high-precision engineering environments * Experience machining materials such as aluminium and titanium * Ability to develop and improve manufacturing processes and efficiency * Understanding of controls (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain – desirable) About You * Detail-driven with a strong technical mindset * Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, production and quality * Proactive in identifying improvements and driving change * Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities Application Process Apply now to speak with a consultant at Syntech Recruitment.
