About the role
Manufacturing Engineer – Glenrothes
Job type: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Work on product performance and process.
- Reporting and analysis tasks.
- Tech support for customers.
- Support innovation for engineering tasks.
- Perform root cause and corrective action as required.
- Support manufacturing cells and engineering tasks as required.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM), NPI and manufacturing process tasks.
- Manage KPIs, metrics and data as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum HND or degree in a related subject such as STEM, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Knowledge/experience of electronics manufacturing.
- Process improvement, efficiency and lean manufacturing.
- Ability to lead or participate in process FMEA, control plan, process flow development, review and risk mitigation processes.
- Experience of various manufacturing platforms.
- Technical presentation skills.
- Ideally have worked for an engineering, manufacturing or defence company.
- Strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
- Can work as a team player, independently and challenge the status quo as required.
Eligibility & Security
Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and a permanent UK resident. Successfully complete a baseline (BPSS) security and background check.
