About the role
We are currently recruiting for Electronic Assemblers to join a world-renowned engineering manufacturer in a busy, high-quality production environment.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with production or assembly experience who are looking to learn new skills and develop a career within engineering. Full training will be provided, so previous electronics experience is not required.
The Role
Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be involved in the assembly, wiring and testing of electronic systems used in modern rail vehicles.
Your duties will include:
* Assembly of electronic components and PCBs
* Wiring, crimping and cable preparation
* Coil winding and loom preparation
* Soldering and component installation
* Rack and cubicle assembly
* Testing electronic components and systems
* Following technical drawings and written instructions
* Carrying out quality checks
* Working to production targets and maintaining high standards
About You
We’re looking for people with:
* Previous production, manufacturing or assembly experience
* Good attention to detail
* Good manual dexterity
* The ability to follow instructions and processes
* A reliable and hardworking attitude
* A willingness to learn new skills
* The ability to work well as part of a team
No previous electronics experience is required – full training will be provided.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday only, with a choice of shift patterns:
* 06:45 – 16:30
* 07:30 – 17:15
* 08:00 – 17:45
