You will join an established, close-knit, and hardworking finance team, working side-by-side with the business owners and Board of Directors to shape financial strategy and commercial direction. Streamline & Innovate: Take ownership of financial systems and process improvements, leaving your mark on the finance function. Key Responsibilities Management Accounts: Drive the full monthly production of management accounts, complete with commercial commentary and variance analysis. Board & Strategic Advisory: Partner directly with the Board of Directors to deliver actionable commercial insights that support business growth. Financial Planning & Control:Manage the annual budgeting process, maintain rolling cash flow forecasts, and monitor financial KPIs. Review internal controls and implement modern financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Commercial Support: What We Are Looking For SME Experience: Strong track record operating as a Management Accountant within an SME setting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modelling, data analysis) and experience improving accounting systems. Qualifications:ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified or finalist. Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the confidence to translate complex numbers into clear strategic narratives for non-finance Directors.
