Job DescriptionCivil/Structural Engineer - Onsite Roleð Plymouth | ð 37-40 hours per week | ð 46-week initial contractJoin our client to delivering a major 3 Basin remediation project in Plymouth This is a key onsite role where you’ll lead and coordinate civil & structural engineering activities within a dynamic Joint Project Team (JPT).ð§ What You’ll Be DoingDefining project requirements & preparing technical specifications ðManaging engineering support and detailed design activities ðReviewing and approving drawings, method statements & risk assessments ️Providing technical supervision of construction/deconstruction works ð·Supporting commissioning/decommissioning activities ️Responding to RFIs and technical queries ðContributing to project optioneering and continuous improvement ðEnsuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment & Quality standards ðºð Key InterfacesYou’ll collaborate closely with:Framework ContractorsDesign TeamsClientAA(D) & AA(SC)ð What We’re Looking ForA proactive Civil/Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and experience managing onsite engineering delivery within complex infrastructure environments.If you’re ready to take ownership of a high-profile defence infrastructure project and make a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you! ðQualificationsEXPERIENCEEssential: Experience of developing design assurance for complex projectsExperience in civil engineering for complex projectsExperience in stakeholder engagement throughout the engineering lifecycleDesirable: Experience of design delivery within defence projects.Experience in engineering lifecycle management.Demonstrable suitable qualifications and experience relating to marine and mechanical engineering.
