RUN THE ELM TREE, HEATH

Community Food Partnership

Overview

The Elm Tree is a destination food‑led pub in the picturesque village of Heath, just five minutes from the M1 and five miles south of Chesterfield. With an impressive building, stunning wrap‑around gardens and a strong reputation for food quality, it attracts locals, commuters, families and visitors to the nearby Peak District. Supported by strong guest recommendation scores and expected food sales of £12,000+ per week gross, this is a standout opportunity for an accomplished operator to reposition The Elm Tree as a true destination venue while retaining its loyal local following.

The business

The pub benefits from a prominent village location, a large car park for approximately 30 vehicles and extensive outdoor trading space with panoramic views, children's play facilities and around 100 external covers. Inside, the main entrance leads into a dining area made up of three distinct spaces, while a separate entrance from the car park provides access to the snug and bar area. With a public house on the site since the late 18th century, The Elm Tree combines heritage, character and strong local appeal. Key strengths include its established food reputation, attractive indoor and outdoor trading spaces, and affluent commuter catchment.
