Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice on retirement planning, pensions, investments, estate planning and cashflow modelling for US-connected clients.
  • Identify potential cross-border issues, including PFICs, FATCA implications and US-situs assets, before recommendations are implemented.
  • Recommend investment solutions that are suitable for both UK and US regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Manage and develop long-term client relationships through regular reviews and ongoing financial planning.
  • Work closely with in-house tax advisers, solicitors and investment specialists to ensure joined-up advice and positive client outcomes.

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (CII, CISI or DipFA) as a minimum.
  • Chartered status, or progress towards Chartered qualification, would be advantageous.
  • Strong experience advising on pensions, investments, retirement and estate planning.
  • Good understanding of cross-border planning considerations, including FATCA, PFICs and HMRC reporting-fund status.
  • Previous experience working with US-connected clients would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial and tax matters in a clear and practical way.
