HR Generalist

HR Generalist Location: Salford – Hybrid Axon Moore is currently partnering with a leading global business to support the hiring of a experienced HR Generalist to join a fast-paced shared service function based in Salford. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and getting involved in meaningful HR work that goes beyond day-to-day administration. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your workload while contributing to wider HR initiatives and project work that supports the people agenda across the business. What the role involves: You’ll work closely with senior HR colleagues across a broad range of activity spanning the employee lifecycle and wider people priorities. This includes supporting engagement activity, contributing to HR projects, working with systems and data, and helping deliver reporting, communication and feedback activity across the organisation. It’s a role where you’ll be given space to run with your own workload, manage competing priorities, and collaborate with others to deliver key outcomes. What we’re looking for: • Strong experience in a HR Generalist role (around 5+ years) • Confident working independently in a busy, varied environment • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with HR data and reporting • Experience with HR systems is beneficial, but not essential • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail • Strong communicator who builds effective relationships across teams • Background in logistics or similarly fast-moving environments would be advantageous, but not required This is a great opportunity for someone who wants genuine variety, visibility, and the chance to be involved in both operational HR and project-based work within a supportive team environment.
