Groundworks Foreman Location: Needham Market, Suffolk Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Package Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Our client, a well-established and expanding Norfolk-based groundworks contractor, is seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of work across East Anglia and continued business growth, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor offering long-term career prospects. The successful candidate will be based on a major project in Needham Market, Suffolk, with approximately 18 months of secured work already in place. The Role This is a hands-on position requiring you to oversee site operations while also working alongside the groundworks team when required. You will be a proactive leader who is willing to lead from the front and contribute directly to the delivery of works on site. Key responsibilities include: * Supervising groundworks operatives * Managing day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently * Working alongside site teams to support groundworks operations when required * Coordinating labour, plant and materials to meet programme requirements * Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers and other project stakeholders * Ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards * Promoting and enforcing health and safety procedures on site * Maintaining accurate site records and progress reports Requirements * Previous experience working as a Groundworks Foreman * Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial groundworks projects * A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside site teams * SSSTS or SMSTS certification * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable * CPCS or NPORS machine operator ticket(s) * Ability and willingness to undertake machine work when required to support site operations Package * Salary up to £55,000 per annum * Long-term project with approximately 18 months of secured work * Opportunity to join a growing and successful contractor * Excellent prospects for progression and future projects across East Anglia For further information or to discuss this opportunity in confidence, please apply with an up-to-date CV
