We’re Hiring: Neurodivergent Wellbeing Advisor (Lived Experience Role)

Contract: 15hrs per week (part time)
Working Days: Likely to be Monday & Thursday (to be discussed with successful applicant)
Salary: £26,523 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a Neurodivergent Wellbeing Advisors to join our team at our Southampton Hub and help shape and deliver a supportive, neuro-affirming service.

This role is designed specifically for someone who can bring personal insight, empathy, and real-world understanding to the support they provide.

Your lived experience will not just be valued; it will be central to how this role works.

About the Role

As a Neurodivergent Wellbeing Advisor, you will provide:

1:1 wellbeing support for autistic and/or ADHD adults

Group facilitation and community-based sessions

A safe, inclusive space where people feel understood and empowered

Support to build confidence, coping strategies, self-advocacy and daily life skills

Input into co-production and shaping future service development.

This is a chance to make a meaningful difference by using your lived experience to support others on their own journeys.

What We’re Looking For

Lived experience of Autism, ADHD, or both (required)

Experience providing emotional or practical support to others

Experience facilitating groups or community activities

Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships

Understanding of boundaries, confidentiality, safeguarding and GDPR

Organised and confident with IT (Microsoft Office / Teams).
