Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer Location: Coventry, West Midlands Salary/Benefits: £26k - £35k + Training & Benefits Our client is seeking a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to cover a range of client contracts across the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of undertaking water hygiene and basic remedial tasks, as you must be able to hit the ground running. Ideally, candidates will be based in: Coventry, Rugby, Solihull, Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Bromsgrove, Dudley, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Kidderminster, Burntwood, Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield, Hinckley, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Coalville Experience / Qualifications: * Track record working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer * Ideally will hold plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 1, Level 2 and / or Level 3, G3 Unvented ticket) * Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Experience working across a range of premises * IT literate * Good literacy and numeracy skills The Role: * Showerhead descales * Basic flushing on outlets * CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections * TMV servicing and failsafe checks * Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring * Deadleg removals * Pipework modifications * Highlighting any faults or leaks on systems * Updating site logbooks * Recording findings and works completed Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Technician, Legionella Operative, Water Treatment Engineer, Environmental Service Technician, Water Monitoring Technician.
