As they continue to expand across EMEA, they are looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Manager to support manufacturing excellence, packaging performance, and new plant readiness across their external production network.

The Opportunity
This is a highly hands-on, regional role sitting at the intersection of engineering, packaging, and manufacturing operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring production lines, packaging formats, and supplier processes are fully optimised, compliant, and delivering against performance and quality standards. The role offers strong exposure to plant start-ups, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple international sites.
Responsibilities:
- Support plant start-ups across EMEA, ensuring production and packaging meet required standards
- Qualify and assess suppliers, co-packers, and bottlers across the region
- Monitor and optimise filling line and process performance from initial trials through to ongoing production
- Define and implement equipment specifications and packaging standards
- Partner with OEMs and site teams on new equipment and production setups
- Lead engineering projects across the region, driving consistency and best practice
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Ensure standardisation of machine settings to maintain packaging quality
- Support quality investigations and customer complaints, developing corrective action plans
- Contribute to product and packaging data management (e.g. BOM inputs, system updates)
- Provide cross-regional support and cover across the engineering team
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Engineering (or similar)
- c. xwzovoh 10+ years’ experience within food & drink or FMCG manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of packaging formats, filling lines, and production processes
- Experience working with co-packers, suppliers, and external manufacturing partners
- Proven track record in plant start-ups, process optimisation, or equipment implementation
- Comfortable operating in a regional, travel-heavy role
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Hands-on, solutions-focused, and confident working in fast-paced environments
