Key responsibilities include: · Optimising rail traffic plans to ensure efficient, and reliable operations driven by utilisation and profitability · Proactively resolving unforeseen challenges with minimal operational impact · Managing customer expectations with professionalism and confidence · Engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the business · Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within transport operations · Supporting operational efficiency across rail, container logistics and multimodal movements (experience in these areas is highly desirable) This role would particularly suit someone with exposure to container logistics and/or multimodal transport operations with a focus on rail, who understands the complexities of time-sensitive movements and thrives on solving logistical challenges.
