💷 £26,142.40 - £29,463.72 + Night Shift Premium of 1/3 hourly rate (which can work out to be approx £8,000 per year)
⏰ 37 hours per week | 4 on, 4 off | 10:00pm – 8:15am

We’re recruiting for a Waking Night Residential Children & Young People’s Worker to join a brand-new mental health residential home supporting young people aged 8–18.
🏡 About the Service
One of the largest childrens charitys in England. A safe, therapeutic home supporting young people transitioning from Tier 4 CAMHS back into the community. Focused on recovery, independence, and emotional resilience - with a strong, supportive team around them.
🔑 Your Role
• Build trusting, positive relationships
• Maintain a safe and secure environment overnight
• Support emotional well-being and independence
• Complete records and documentation accurately
• Work alongside families and professionals
• Carry out light domestic duties
• Promote a calm, therapeutic night environment
✅ What We’re Looking For
🚗 Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential)
🎓 Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
👶 Experience with children/young people in care settings
🧠 Understanding of mental health & trauma-informed practice
🔄 Flexibility to work shifts (including weekends/bank holidays)
💬 Strong communication skills

Includes night enhancement (1/3 hourly rate) + annual progression opportunities based on performance.
