English Teacher

Teacher of English Location: Newport, Wales Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm) Pay: £172.98 to £200 per day (depending on experience.) A supportive and ambitious secondary school in Newport is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join their English department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring a love of literature, language, and communication across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ability to teach Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential. ECTs/NQTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply. About the Role: You will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons, helping pupils to develop strong skills in reading, writing, and spoken communication. You will inspire learners to engage with a wide range of texts and develop confidence in their analytical and creative writing abilities.
