Senior Contracts Manager – Fire Doors / Passive Fire Protection A leading provider of fire compliant services across the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join their growing team. With over 30 years’ experience delivering third-party accredited passive fire protection solutions, the business is highly respected within this specialist sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Senior Contracts Manager with fire door experience to take ownership of contracts, client relationships, and project delivery. The Role – Senior Contracts Manager The Senior Contracts Manager will play a key role in ensuring works are planned, delivered, and completed to the highest standards, while also supporting business growth through client engagement and tendering activities. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Manager: * Manage and update the Fire Door Installer labour diary * Plan and schedule works in line with business requirements * Liaise with senior leadership to ensure projects commence on time * Meet with new and prospective clients to promote services and secure new business * Price and manage tender enquiries * Attend pre-start meetings * Conduct site surveys, measurements, and condition reports for fire doors * Negotiate contracts and agreements * Procure materials, plant, and manage qualified labour * Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures * Oversee full contract and project lifecycle management * Monitor performance and implement improvements in line with regulations * Ensure quality control across all installations * Authorise payments to suppliers and subcontractors Experience Required: * Strong fire door experience (essential) * Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Manager role * Excellent communication and client-facing ability * Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Skills and Attributes: * Professional and confident with clients * Strong technical knowledge of fire door products and installation standards * Ability to manage project/recording software (Boris experience desirable) * Highly organised with strong process management skills * Customer-focused with a high standard of service delivery Qualifications: * Relevant Management CSCS Card * SSSTS or SMSTS
