Benefits: Competitive salary circa £35,000, with additional Saturday pay of £90 on a 1 in 3 rota Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am – 6:00pm Generous staff discount on vehicle servicing and repairs Opportunities for ongoing training and career development Supportive and professional team environment Modern, fully equipped workshop facilitiesDuties of a Assistant Workshop Controller: Assist the Service Department in managing daily workshop operations Allocate work to technicians efficiently to maximise productivity Support the Workshop Controller in maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction Liaise with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and updates Monitor workshop workflow to ensure timely completion of jobs Maintain accurate workshop records, including invoicing and job documentation Support in training and mentoring junior staff members Promote health and safety practices within the workshop environmentRequirements of a Assistant Workshop Controller: Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Assistant Workshop Controller, or similar role in the automotive sector Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and servicing procedures Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively Full UK driving licence Knowledge of manufacturer standards and workshop management systems Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and customer service focusThis is an outstanding opportunity for a committed and well-organised Assistant Workshop Controller to join a dealership that values its staff and encourages professional growth.
