KS1 Teaching Assistant Location: BH10 Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Agency: Teaching Personnel About the Role Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely primary school in the BH10 area who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. You’ll be supporting children in Years 1 and 2, helping them build confidence and develop key skills in a positive and supportive classroom environment. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the teacher with engaging KS1 lessons Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and early maths Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupil wellbeing Supporting children with SEND where needed Helping to keep the classroom organised and running smoothly What We’re Looking For Experience working with children (school experience desirable) A positive, patient, and adaptable approach Good communication and teamwork skills GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Desirable Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience with phonics programmes or SEND support Unqualified candidates with relevant experience are welcome Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
