Outreach Tutor

Outreach Tutor - Barnet - £30-£35 per hour We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Outreach Tutor to support students in their homes across Barnet. This is a rewarding opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who require additional support outside of a mainstream school setting. The Role: As an Outreach Tutor, you will deliver tailored sessions to students in their homes, supporting their academic progress and engagement with learning. You will be working with pupils who may have SEN, SEMH needs, or who are currently out of education, requiring a flexible and patient approach. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 tailored tuition sessions in students' homes Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities Support students with SEN, SEMH, or those out of education Build strong, positive relationships to encourage engagement Monitor progress and provide feedback to relevant professionals Maintain a safe and professional working environmentThe Ideal Candidate: Experience working as a Tutor, Teacher, or SEN specialist Strong understanding of SEN and/or SEMH needs Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach Excellent communication and engagement skills Must be a driver with access to a vehicleThe Role Offers: Competitive hourly rate of £30-£35 Flexible working opportunities A highly rewarding role making a real difference Ongoing support from a dedicated teamIf you are passionate about supporting students outside of the classroom and want a flexible, impactful role, we would love to hear from you.
