Job title: Weekend General Operative Location: Haverhill Hourly Rate: up to £13.50ph DOE Contract: Temporary on-going (could go perm for right person) Hours: Friday - Sunday (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) Sector: Manufacturing An opportunity has arisen for Weekend General Operative for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk As a Weekend General Operative your duties will include: * Operate and maintain a variety of machinery including lathes, milling machines, drilling rigs and cutting equipment * Set up, align and calibrate tooling, work‑holders and fixtures for machining components * Assemble machined parts, carry out finishing operations * Monitor machine performance, conduct routine checks, perform basic maintenance, and report issues promptly. An ideal candidate for the Weekend General Operative will have: * Familiarity with machining previously. * Available to work weekends Ideally you will have experience within a similar position.
