Are you looking for meaningful secondary experience before moving into educational or clinical psychology?*** Psychology Graduate Academic Mentor *** £85 - £100 per day *** ‘Good’ secondary school, Willenhall *** Start September 2026, finish July 2027 *** 1:1 academic support for a student with ADHDThe Role: Provide dedicated 1:1 academic support for a student with ADHD across the school day. You will help the pupil manage routines, stay on task in lessons, break work into manageable steps, and build confidence with classwork, while feeding back clearly to teachers and the SENCO. The SEND Code of Practice remains the statutory guidance schools follow for identifying needs, putting support in place, and reviewing its impact.The Candidate: You are calm, observant, and able to build trust through consistency and clear communication. You want practical school-based experience, you can stay patient in a busy secondary setting, and you are interested in how focused support helps a young person overcome barriers to learning. This role suits a Psychology graduate who wants relevant experience before progressing into educational or clinical psychology.Requirements

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals – A desire to pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
