About the role
The Senior Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This role acts as a key link between day-to-day finance operations and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and statutory regulations
* Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
* Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
* Coordinate external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors
* Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets
* Provide financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
* Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members
* Manage tax reporting and liaise with external tax advisors where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA) strongly preferred
* Proven experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* High proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Preferred Experience
* 5–10+ years in accounting or finance roles, including supervisory experience
* Experience in audit, financial reporting, and internal controls
* Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment is an advantage

Hours Mon to Thurs 8am – 4.30pm & Fri 8am – 3.30pm – full time on-site role.
