Support Worker - Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs (Female Only) Day Service | Truro (TR4) We are recruiting a compassionate female Support Worker to join a specialist day service supporting adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex health needs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, experienced team delivering meaningful, person-centred support in a structured daytime environment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role - you must have the right to work in the UK to apply. Package * £13.31 per hour (days) * Part-time contract (16+ hours) * Day shifts only * Paid induction, shadowing and specialist training * Ongoing learning and development * Supportive management team * Stable long-term opportunity Responsibilities * Supporting adults with PMLD and complex health needs * Delivering person-centred support within a day service * Assisting with personal care, moving and handling and daily routines * Supporting activities that promote engagement and wellbeing * Following detailed care and support plans * Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals * Maintaining accurate records * Promoting dignity, choice and independence Requirements * Experience supporting people with learning disabilities preferred * Female applicants only due to service user requirements * Comfortable providing personal care * Driver not essential * Compassionate, patient and reliable * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Right to work in the UK If you're passionate about supporting people with complex needs to achieve the best possible quality of life, we'd love to hear from you
