GPN Recruitment is working with a highly regarded accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Assistant Manager . This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Audit Senior looking to step into a broad, client-facing role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Youll be joining a collaborative team with a strong reputation for quality, professional development, and long-term staff retention. The firm works with a diverse client base across multiple sectors, offering genuine variety and responsibility at Assistant Manager level.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading audits from planning through to completion
Acting as the main point of contact for clients
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts prepared under FRS 102 and FRS 105
Coaching, supervising, and reviewing the work of juniors
Supporting Partners and Managers with workflow planning and deadlines
You will ideally have:
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent, or be a finalist)
Strong audit experience gained within UK practice
Experience leading audits and managing junior staff
Experience reviewing work and mentoring juniors
Confident communication skills and a client-focused mindset
