Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Hammersmith, London Salary: £45,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Weeks) • Week 1: 7:00am – 4:00pm • Week 2: 8:00am – 5:00pm An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities team within a modern commercial building in West London. This is a site-based role offering a great working environment, supportive client, and strong work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule. The Role: • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across M&E systems. • Working on HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and plant equipment. • Supporting with plumbing, legionella compliance, emergency lighting and fire alarms. • Managing and supervising subcontractors on site. • Supporting the wider engineering team with technical tasks. • Participating in a call-out rota when required. Package: • £45,000 basic salary • Monday–Friday working pattern (rotating shifts) • 26 days annual leave + bank holidays • Overtime opportunities available • Call-out and escalation package • Pension contribution (3% employer) • Uniform and PPE provided • Stable site with a supportive and easy-to-work-with client Requirements: • Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent). • Experience within building services / commercial maintenance. • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plant systems. • Experience managing subcontractors desirable. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
