Location: Doncaster
Shift Pattern: Full time Monday to Friday
Salary: £16.50ph time and half before 8:30am
(if you are open to over time and working weekends, this is time and half)
About the role:
Driver Hire is currently looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our client on a Temp to Perm basis located in Doncaster. Our client is a well-established and trusted UK business specialising in the supply, distribution, and delivery of construction, utilities, and infrastructure materials across the country.
Key responsibilities:
Delivering goods safely and efficiently across designated routes
Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
Comfortable with manual handling aspects of the role
Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with company and legal requirements

What were looking for:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC and Tacho Card
Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Flexibility to complete the occasional night out (Tramping - approximately once every 3 weeks)
Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations
