An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Electro-Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to join a growing assembly team based in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
This role involves working on specialist equipment supplied across the UK and worldwide, primarily within the oil & gas industry. If you enjoy hands-on engineering work, problem-solving, and being part of a skilled team producing high-quality products, this could be the role for you.
The Role: Youll be working within a busy assembly environment, helping to build and test electro-mechanical products to exact specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities Include: Working from schematic and mechanical GA drawings
Liaising with team members and other departments to ensure component availability
Assembling and testing products in line with Quality Plans and Certification requirements
Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues
Following company procedures, policies, and work instructions
Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
What Were Looking For: Training or experience within electro-mechanical engineering (NVQ, apprenticeship, or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to measure and mark out accurately
Confident using hand tools safely and correctly
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams
Experience with wiring, crimping, looming, and soldering
Motivated, reliable, and able to communicate effectively within a team environment
