Senior Systems Administrator

Location: East Kilbride or Market Drayton / Hybrid – 3 days per week on site.

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, support and develop Workplace endpoint management solutions, including Microsoft SCCM, Intune and Autopilot.
  • Manage and continuously improve OS standard images, including build, upgrade and driver package maintenance.
  • Create, package and maintain Microsoft Office and third-party software deployments across the estate.
  • Deliver effective patch management for server and client environments (OS and Office), ensuring security and compliance.
  • Produce and maintain reporting across endpoint management platforms, supporting both Workplace Services and wider Infrastructure teams.
  • Provide 3rd line support to Group IT Technical Support teams, ensuring stability and performance of all associated tools and services.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) and drive resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Share knowledge and upskill UWS analysts and Technical Support teams to improve service quality and response times.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, user guides and training materials.
  • Contribute to the Müller Knowledge Base and support the definition and evolution of standards and policies.
  • Participate in Workplace Services projects, delivering solutions on time, within budget and aligned to stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

  • Technical college degree in a relevant subject
  • Communication skills in technical and non-technical subjects
  • Ability to communicate clearly to varied levels and businesses within an organization
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and service continuity
  • Analysis and problem‑solving skills
  • Willingness to travel and to work in an international team
  • Participation in an out of hours on‑call rotation
