Customer Account Manager | £35,000 | 33 Days Holiday | Early Friday Finish
A Customer Account Manager opportunity has become available within a well-established manufacturing and engineering business based in the Willenhall area. Supporting a busy commercial team, this role will act as the key point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring excellent service levels, clear communication, and smooth order progression across multiple engineering programmes.
Working closely with engineering, production, planning, quality, and commercial teams, the successful candidate will support customer relationships from order receipt through to delivery. This position would suit someone with previous experience within Account Management, Customer Service, Commercial Coordination, or Sales Support within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Customer Account Manager responsibilities include -
Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building strong long‑term relationships
Managing customer enquiries, order updates, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
Supporting contract review activities and ensuring customer requirements are communicated internally.
Liaising with engineering, production, planning, and quality teams to support on-time delivery performance.
Maintaining internal trackers, spreadsheets, reports, and customer documentation.
Coordinating and distributing weekly order book updates and performance reports to customers where required
Representing the business during customer meetings, visits, and audits
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service and delivery performanceCustomer Account Manager desirable skills and experience -
Previous experience within Account Management, Customer Service, Commercial Coordination, or Sales Support.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, machining, aerospace, defence, or technical industries.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident managing multiple priorities and high volumes of communication.
Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.On offer -
Salary circa £35,000 depending on experience.
33 days annual leave including bank holidays.
Early finish on Fridays.
