Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Commutable from Hamilton, Glasgow, Motherwell, Livingston and surrounding areas) First Achieve engineering recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client a well- established and growing engineering consultancy within the ground investigation sector. We're seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to manage complex site investigation projects and deliver high-quality technical reporting. About the role * Manage and supervise ground investigation projects on site * Oversee drilling rigs and site teams, ensuring safe delivery * Carry out soil/rock logging, trial pitting, and in-situ testing * Undertake groundwater and gas monitoring/sampling * Produce accurate site records and interpretative reports * Lead on H&S compliance, RAMS, inductions, and site safety * Liaise directly with clients throughout project delivery Requirements for consideration * Degree qualified (Geology / Geotechnical / Hydrogeology or similar) * Experience managing ground investigation projects/contracts * Strong report writing and communication skills * Chartered or working towards chartership * Full UK driving licence Benefits Package * Pay grade up to £45,000 for the right candidate * 33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays) * Pension, life cover (3x salary) * Health cash plan & wellbeing benefits * Training & career development support * Flexible benefits & discounts Please note this role does not offer sponsorship, for any further information please do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our engineering experts on (phone number removed)
