Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Remote + Quarterly Planning Sessions in Bristol
Remuneration: £600 per day via Umbrella Company
Contract Details: Temporary - 6 Months (Scope for Extensions)

The organisation is replacing ageing on-premises systems with a cutting-edge cloud-native architecture within a greenfield AWS environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant advancements in technology and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing and understanding existing legacy systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define future-state requirements and translating them into scalable cloud solutions.
• Designing and building infrastructure within a greenfield AWS environment.
• Supporting the migration and replacement of legacy applications with modern cloud-native services.
• Defining infrastructure architecture, standards, and operational approaches for new platforms.
• Building and supporting environments for data platforms, web-based applications, mapping and GIS tools, and microservices-based platforms.
