In this role, you will deliver both practical and theory-based Arboriculture training across a range of courses while supporting the organisation and development of the curriculum area. You will play a key role in developing learners, maintaining high industry standards, and helping shape the next generation entering the Arboriculture and Forestry industries. Teaching will cover both classroom and practical elements of Arboriculture. On the theory side, you will deliver subjects such as tree science, tree identification, sustainability, biodiversity, and wider environmental and woodland topics. On the practical side, you will support learners with chainsaw crosscutting and maintenance, aerial tree work, and wider practical Arboriculture skills, using your industry knowledge and qualifications to develop safe working practices and technical competence. The ideal candidate will come from an Arboriculture, Forestry, Woodland Management, or Tree Surgery background and be looking to move into education and training. Candidates with practical climbing experience, chainsaw qualifications/tickets, and wider forestry or woodland experience are highly encouraged to apply. The college is looking for somebody with strong practical Arboriculture knowledge, industry experience, and a genuine passion for passing on skills and professional standards.
