SEN Tribunal Officer

Resolution & Tribunal Officer Fox Morris Group are currently working with Council to recruit a Resolution & Tribunal Officer on a contract basis. Contract details 6+ month ongoing contract The role You will play a key role in managing SEND tribunal cases, supporting the local authority through the full appeals process and helping to resolve disputes effectively. Key responsibilities - Manage and oversee appeals to the First-tier Tribunal, ensuring all statutory deadlines and compliance requirements are met - Coordinate mediations to resolve disputes where possible and reduce tribunal escalation - Represent the local authority at tribunal hearings - Act as a key point of contact for parents, carers, young people, legal teams, advocates and educational settings - Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation About you - Experience working within SEND tribunal processes or a similar local authority setting - Strong case management and organisational skills - Confident communicator with experience engaging a range of stakeholders - Ability to manage complex cases and work to tight deadlines
