Accounts Assistant

The Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger focus) will play a key role in managing and maintaining the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. This 12 month temporary contract requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills. Client Details The company is recognised for its efficient and reliable services. Description Process and maintain accurate sales ledger records. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively. Generate and distribute invoices to clients in a timely manner. Monitor and chase outstanding payments to ensure timely collections. Assist with preparing financial reports and statements as required. Support the accounting & finance department with administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues.Profile A successful Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger focus) should have: Experience in a similar role within the accounting & finance field. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.
