Senior Software Engineer - Malvern YT Tech is representing a market-leading Security Technology firm in Malvern currently scaling its R&D team. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of a business-critical product codebase within a multidisciplinary environment. This is a high-impact role for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of software, physics, and hardware. They are looking for strong experience in Python & C++. The Role * Technical Ownership: Lead software architecture across Windows and Linux platforms. * Complex Systems: Manage codebases integrating hardware, sensors, vision, and AI. * Innovation: Partner with Data Science to deploy Machine Learning models to edge devices (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson). * Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices across the full SDLC. What We’re Looking For * Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience in a product-development setting. * Tech Stack: High proficiency in Python AND C/C++. * Culture: Strong communication skills and a desire to move into technical leadership/management. * Environment: Comfortable working in an office-based, collaborative team (Physics, Electronics, Research).
