Drive meaningful change for pupils facing barriers to learningYour Impact as SENCO Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will:
Lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision
Monitor the quality and impact of SEND support across the school
Contribute to school improvement planning and self-evaluation
Oversee EHCP processes, funding applications, and provision planning
Ensure SEND practice aligns with the SEND Code of Practice
Identifying needs early and coordinating effective interventions
Leading social, emotional and mental health support programmes
Promoting positive behaviour and removing barriers to learning
Supporting reintegration of pupils following absence or suspension
Coaching pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilienceWe’re Looking For Someone Who:
Holds QTS
Has completed (or is working towards) the National Award for SEN Coordination
Is passionate about inclusive education
Can inspire, mentor, and lead colleagues
Builds strong relationships with pupils, parents, and external agencies
