Senior Maintenance Contracts Manager

Concept Group (Wigan) Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Contracts Manager to lead the delivery, development, and growth of our maintenance and small-works portfolio.

This senior role requires a proven construction maintenance background, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term, trusted client relationships.

The successful candidate will oversee contract performance, support business development activities, ensure technical excellence, and drive profitability across a range of maintenance and construction-related services.

Key Responsibilities: Contract & Operational Management Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of maintenance contracts across multiple sites.

Ensure all contract obligations, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements are met or exceeded.

Oversee maintenance teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.

Commercial & Financial Produce accurate estimates, quotations, and pricing models for maintenance works and minor projects.

Identify and pursue variations, renewals, and upsell opportunities within existing contracts.

Support tender preparation and bid submissions for new maintenance contracts.

Client Leadership & Communication Act as the primary senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Conduct regular client review meetings.

Resolve escalations, technical queries, and service issues promptly and professionally.

Business Development Support the generation of new business leads through networking, site visits, and industry engagement.

Work with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities within the maintenance division.

Skills & Experience Required Significant experience in a senior maintenance, facilities management, construction, or technical services management role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong understanding of building fabric and maintenance methodologies.

Experience in a construction trade (joinery, plastering, ceiling fixer, etc) Proven experience in pricing, estimating, and commercial contract management.

Excellent client relationship skills with the ability to influence and communicate at senior levels.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
