A growing Bolton-based B2B distribution business is expanding its internal sales team and is looking for someone who understands how to build repeat business with trade customers.
The Role This is not entry-level sales.
You'll manage your own portfolio of live B2B trade accounts , supporting customers, quoting enquiries and growing spend.
Day to day you'll be:
* Managing contractor and wholesale customer accounts
* Turning enquiries into quotations and orders
* Negotiating pricing while protecting margin
* Speaking with customers daily to increase spend
* Managing incoming enquiries and urgent requirements
* Building long-term trading relationships
* Logging activity on CRM
* Working towards clear sales targets If you're comfortable dealing with tight margins, quick quotes and customers who need answers fast , you'll likely fit in well.
Who This Will Suit You'll likely have:
* 2 years internal sales / account management experience
* Confidence producing quotations and negotiating price
* Commercial awareness, understanding margin, not just turnover
* Experience supporting contractors, installers or wholesale customers
