Capital M&E are actively seeking an Electrician to join our team.

We are an established electrical contractor.
Our clients include Healthcare establishments both public & private , Veterinary practices, Educational settings, Commercial & Retail, Rail.
No two days will be the same, This role will require ability/willingness to work on Projects, Service & Breakdowns as required.
But currently there is no need for yourself to be added to an on-call Rota.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will carry out electrical installation, testing, fault finding, and maintenance across a variety of sites.
Youll be expected to work to a high standard, with a strong understanding of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical installations in accordance with the latest 18th Edition regulations Conduct EICRs and remedial works on a variety of systems.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs in an efficient and safe manner Install containment systems, distribution boards, lighting, sockets, and switchgear Complete and submit relevant certification and documentation accurately and on time Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients as required Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance on all works undertaken Candidate Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671) City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Inspection & Testing (desirable but not essential) Experience with commercial, industrial or domestic installations Full UK driving license (clean preferred) Strong understanding of health and safety regulations Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to pass Enhanced DBS Check & Security Screening Desirable Qualifications/Experience: xwzovoh ECS Gold Card Knowledge of EV charger installations, solar PV, or smart energy systems BMS Experience (Desirable but not essential) Familiarity with NICEIC certification or similar scheme requirements Willingness to work away if required What We Offer: Competitive salary package (based on experience and qualifications) Overtime Company van, tools, fuel card, iPhone, iPad, Laptop and uniform/PPE Test Equipment Paid training and upskilling opportunities Structured progression opportunities into supervisory or project management roles 28 days holiday Pension scheme and other company benefits
