About the role
Children & Young People Trainee Assessor (CYP)
We are of a leading training provider for a Trainee Assessor in the Children & Young People sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience looking to move into an assessing role — full training will be provided, including support to gain an assessor qualification if not already held.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and support learners working towards CYP qualifications
* Conduct workplace visits and monthly progress reviews
* Manage a caseload and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
* Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance
Essential:
* Experience in Children & Young People sector
* Level 4 or 5 NVQ/QCF in CYP
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
* Willing to complete DBS and EWC registration
Desirable:
* Assessing qualification (TAQA/CAVA/A1) or willing to work towards one.
* Welsh speaking
